Cool title eh? I would love to claim it as my ow...no I wouldn't, and I am about to explain why, but I got the title from a video I am watching in science class that aroused this blog. Man did it grind my gears. So hear it goes... 5, 4, 3..
So I was watching this video in science class today and it started talking about how scientists could make it to where people could have a male or female....I was like, WHAT? Now as much as I want a son when I grow up, there is no way in heck I want to alter my sperm just so I can do it. That is the craziest thing I have ever heard, and I think the scientist that thought it up needs to go hold a medal pole up in a lightening storm and try Thomas Edisons experiment out again, just in a new fashion.
Then, they started talking about sperm banks. I was like, well, how bad could this be. Ha, how sadly mistaken could I be should have been the question. Then people could go to the sperm bank, and choose how the baby would look, and basically how it would turn out. Like, IQ, whether it would be athletic or not, height, music talents or not, etc. You could basically build the perfect child, and they kept repeating that. I was like, wtf mate, shove a kangaroo up a donkey and call it a monkey, this isn't science, its Hitler all over again(i dont care if I spelled his name right or not). You should not be able to create a baby to the way that you like. God creates your baby from the genes of you, and the one that you married...if you didn't get married, sorry, adoption is an option, if one of you can't do a part in creating a baby, adoption is an option. DONT GO CREATING YOUR DANG DREAM BABY! That isn't right. You can make it male or female, black or white or Hispanic or etc., you can make it all the traits you want as long as the donor has them, heck they are creating artificial sperm in California that is called "super sperm" that you can make it to what ever the heck you want. Its like creating a character on the internet. Its just not natural, and honestly, i think against the way how god made things.
Lastly, another reason for abortion. Doctors found a way to find out if a baby would be born with a disease that would cause it to be mentally retarded before it was born. If the test comes back positive, the parents have a choice to have an abortion...in the video we watch, we see 2 or more (i was so pissed i stopped paying attention) families have there kids that weren't even born yet that could possibly not have this disease and this science could be wrong or this child could get over this deisease get out down before birth. Just another reason for abortion. Another unnatural death. Man, I swear, science has killed a few people in this area, actually a lot, mainly kids. It really makes me mad. They need to get there darn act together. I can't wait to watch the rest of this video tomorrow. Its gonna be so much fun...i think I will do as I did today and just start blocking it out.

the 3 topicer!
There are 3 topics to be discussed today. Its like a sandwich, you got a piece of bread, meat, and then another piece of bread
1. My family is not normal! I declared this a long time ago, it is official as of now. Normally people talk about...well I am assuming normal things at Easter dinner, like god and how awesome ccc madras service was and etc....NOOOO!!!! (well I bragged about my team, but...) We talked about politics. OMG! I HATE POLITICS TO DEATH AND BACK THEN TO DEATH AGAIN! We also talked about the war in and also how a war may start in Iran because some of my family is in Iran and etc. While my older brother (who doesn't live with us) and my dad and mom and aunt where talking, all I could think about was, wow, this is definitely the Ohadi family. There is no mistaking us. How on earth can this be the topic at a dinner table on Easter...oh well.
2. DANG DANG DANG DANG DANG! Was that a awesome service at madras or what? 171 people during 1st service (10:30) and 314 people in all visit madras, that is including kids. That is just awesome for our first service. Rock on ccc madras! Visit again next week, invite this week.
3. I am so sick of being doubted for my age. My company gets to stay parked in the garage until someone thinks that I am able to do something. No really, I am serious. I cant be like youtube and myspace and start up from my garage...one, they where a bit older, two, they where doing something completely different that didn't require people to think of you as an adult...which SHOULDN'T BE REQUIRED!, and 3...well idk. Man am I really fired up about it though. I got turned down by another small company that was looking for web designers. They loved our site, enjoyed taking a peek of what our designer has done on other sites, and was impressed...the asked our ages, he didn't mind my designers age as much as mine. DANG THAT FIRES ME UP!!! I think it not only fires me up because I am being held back, but because I am holding my "staff" back to. Its times like this that you really feel you cant be any lower on the flipping pole. Trust me, I am feeling low, if not as low as it goes. I swear if I had the chance, I would personally rip the persons hands off that made the law that said 14 year olds cant work. Your not helping me, your making my life miserable!

Church for the rest of us...
Today has been a great day, and full of surprises, challenges, and fun. Bill and his crew have done a great job of organizing the adult ministry and from what I have heard today everything went well. To learn more about how the adult services went, go to Bill's blog and also Jason's Blog. The children's ministry went well today to. We where able to set everything up, just not power it up. So it went well. Next week will be the real deal, we are going to run it like it was Easter though. So we got to get our game on. One of my guys sent me this text message today and it was really awesome "May God spread his gospel through us every Sunday. That is why im there! :)" That was really awesome to hear and made my day! Anyway, I really hope you guys read Bill's Blog and start coming to Madras. Check out the Site to for madras. it is awesome.
Here is a pic of the Children's Ministry's mostly set up.

Kids can learn
So I just got off the phone with my sister and we got on the subject of church. She started telling me about a story that really made me appreciate what I am going to do at Madras. She works with 1-3 year olds at her church, which is a new department for them. She has really enjoyed working with them. Anyway, here is the story
"I was getting ready to go to church and I turned to Olivia (my sisters daughter) and said, we are gonna go to church and learn about the fish and birds, then Olivia chimed in, and Jesus!"
Now to me, that is just an awesome story. She is only 21 months old and already is getting so much out of church. My sister told me this
"you know how in a class there are kids who want to learn, then kids who don't really care, then there are kids who just don't want to learn? Well that is how it is here, but most of them just want to learn about God, and they are so young"
I mean, we are talking about 1-3 year olds, and they are already understanding the concept about this guy who created the earth and all that inhabit it. I think that is the coolest thing on earth. This story really hit me with a powerful rush of knowledge of what I am doing for these kids. Just clicking a button on a computer to show a kid a video or the lyrics to a song is important and helpful. It was so cool to hear this story about my niece and my sis and all that she is doing. My niece is even making friends at the church. I am so happy to hear that little kids can even get something out of this.

hands on equipment
Today I got to go and sort of get my hands on the computers we will be using for CCC Madras Children's Ministry. They got some really cool computers at a great price. Anyways, I have never been so excited about something than this, believe it or not. I don't exactly know why I am so excited about it, probably because I get to do what the church did years ago when they started. The weird thing is, CCC started in a school, and now its first multi-site is at a school. How ironic is that? So I am excited about being able to do what they did years ago, now. Anyway, 2 days to go and I am ready.

3 days
My Igoogle has been counting down 2 dates for me lately. One that has a few months left on it, and the other with a few days. The few months one is my day that I get my permit, hopefully, also known as my B-day. The other countdown is for CCC Madras's first preview service. It is only 3 days away, and I am so excited. Actually, it seems like everyone involved is. Bill has done a great job at describing how the volunteers are on his blog, which you should read. Bill is the campus pastor, and for those of you who don't know Bill Coffman, he has got to be one of the best, coolest, funniest (im using that a bit lightly), messiest people i know. ya that last one is really true and if you don't believe me i suggest you call CCC, ask for Bill, offer to clean his office, and once you do that once, you will see what i mean ;) No but seriously he is a great guy and has great plans for CCC Madras. With the awesome crew of volunteers behind him, I think we will be able to pull this off! I hope that you will come see the service on March 23rd, which I know is easter, but what better way to spend easter than with some people who are trying to figure out how to operate the lights, get the words on the screen, Ed to stop spitting on the camera in the front row, and the guitar to stop making that screeching sound. Sounds like a perfect day to me!! Lol, so make an effort to come, I promise we hopefully wont have those problems.

Take cover, is a storm!!!

Wow, either my dog is a chicken or she is a smart dog. She heard the thunder today and jumped up on the couch. Then when the wind started picking up and the storm got bad, she got down and went got under a table that she NEVER goes under. She was like a human in a tornado. It was kind of cool to see. I couldn't tell if the dog was being scared, or being smart. When I say smart, I mean, she was taking cover because she sensed bad weather. When the wind died down she came out. It was pretty interesting to watch. Maybe dogs are really smarter than us...in some ways.

Girls...tsk tsk tsk
Wow, i have wanted to do this blog for a while, but haven't had the right inspiration for it. Thanks to my gf and cousin, I know do! Wow, what planet did they come from, or are they from earth, and us guys are from another planet that is more normal...then again what is normal. I just looked it up on webster...ya...i wouldn't understand what half those definitions meant if my life depended on it. ANYWAY. I was talking to my girl friend today, and we where talking about the VMA's that are tomorrow (which you better show up to if you live in GA, heck if you don't live in GA, you better start booking your plain ticket, cause I better see you here (jk...sorta)) anyway, she said "I wonder if I should dress up...no one ever told me if we are. I think i will wear this, and that, and this, with these shoes, etc...etc" the whole time i was thinking....Is this really what girls think about...yep, sure is, cause i remember hearing this from about....almost every other girl i know! They care way to much about how they look, which I wont complain about, but its funny to me. (I am being careful with what i say, there are a few girls, including my girl friend, reading this) Then I talked to my cousin...THIS GOT INTERESTING. I went onto myspace, looked at friends status's and this is word for word what it said "i want school like now =)" Now i flipped about a dozen or two times, then I asked "whats up with your status?" She said "lol, ya I am one of a kind" Ya, that is using that term LIGHTLY!!! Dont know what family you hailed from, but I am sure as hell not claiming you as part of mine any more! lol. Then there is there constant random sayings. I have had millions of those, not only from my GF, but my cousin, and friends to (when i say friends, I am referring to the female ones at the moment) Its nuts. We could be talking about how the sky is blue and they will say "hey, did you know that a fish will 5 eggs every 11 to 18 days?" Its like, WTF mate. Its so random and unexpected, you dont know what to say. I swear, either the guys are from another planet, and the girls are from Earth, and us guys unfortunately crash landed here and now we are stuck with them, or the girls invaded earth millions of years ago therefor ruining MAN kind as we know it (i am using "ruining" lightly there, lol),or god has a sick sense of humor and really did make us on the same planet!
Video disaster
Ok, so I have been on youtube a lot today learning about interviews and what kind of shots people use for them. I learned a lot from it, and got a good idea of how interviews are done, and I already had a pretty good idea of how to thanks to my church and Bill Coffman. In my research I found a video every here and there someone had grabbed there video camera, and recorded the interview by taping it. It sucked so badly it wasn't even funny!! I would also run across some poorly shot interviews that needed to be burned and never shown to the public cause there camera crew must have been a bunch of 3 year olds or something, cause dang was it all over the place. Poor video bugs....thanks to Bill....i will never watch a movie or video normally again. Oh well ;)
