Having good friends+God=a happy life (8/19/09)

What a day what a day. Work went well, even though I got in late lol. I hate not having my mom here, she wakes me up usually. Ill get use to it though, and then she will be back. Oh well. Anyways, made some sales today, always nice. Then I got to hang out with a friend for a few hours. Great kid, lots of fun to hang out with. He likes computers almost as much as I do. Maybe i found a young apprentice? Anyways, had a lot of fun hanging out with him. We mostly played video games today, but he wants to learn more about computers, so I will probably start teaching him new things. I also have been doing some reflecting tonight (uh oh, this doesn't normally end well) but it was actually good reflection time. I started thinking about all my friends...christian friends, non christian friends, young and old friends, male and female, etc. Dude, I got the best group of friends ever. I don't have many, but the ones I have, AMAZING. To name a few, Justin Lindsey. Dude, that guy is awesome. Justin is like a brother to me. Him and I think a like way to much, and sometimes we don't even have to verbally communicate to get something across. I hope to keep him as a friend until death strikes us down. Then, COURTNEY BOYD! What a guy that character is. That man has been there for me through a lot of things. He is the person that baptized me for the first time. I couldn't have asked for a better person to do it. Me and him get along pretty well, mainly cause he has the mind of a 12 year old, and its AWESOME! lol. Then I got Tim Myers, the young apprentice. I just talked about him. Then I have Jeff Skinner, I have talked about him before. I got Kevin Hudson. Oh, Matthew Cabrera, couldn't forget him. We haven't hung out for a while, but we still keep in contact, and he always was a good friend. Nathan burns, met him this year, he is one cool dude. I got a few others that I wont mention for now (our friendships are still developing) but those are a few of the main ones. My friends are great. They keep me inline, and remind me I am 16 and not 30 from time to time lol. Thank you to all my friends, you are all great.

The last thing I want to mention today is a bible verse I found. It could not express my feelings any better.

1 Timothy 4:12
"Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity."

Wow. Amen to that. Running a business as a 16 year old could probably not be much more difficult for me. thankfully I have great parents, friends, and family to back me up. Sadly, my age stops me from doing lots of things in the business industry. It honestly sucks and can get discouraging quickly. I am asked a lot why I like helping kids so much....I figured out the reason. I want them to have the same opportunities I have had. The opportunity to live their dream at a young age. I really want my business to succeed....filming is a passion of mine....electronics are a passion of mine...computers are a passion. If I can do what I love in a helping manner to others, then by all means I will do whatever I can to do it. My company right now is one of the lowest priced computer repair shops in the entire county. Our prices or almost less than half the prices of the competitions, and we are still open and making money. I am not out to get rich fast off of one customer. I believe in the low price, multiple customers theory. I am a consumer to, I know the prices I would prefer if I needed a computer fixed. I would choose $50 over $120 any day. I am darn proud of what I am doing, and the people I am helping, and to anyone that gets in my way, all I have to say is, its not me you will be faced by on judgement day, it is God. And remember, I am Gods child, as are you. I am thankful to God everyday for what he has done for me, and the things he is presenting me with in the future. I may not know what is going to happen tomorrow, but I know it is going to have a purpose in my life, and that God has worked out the details. I am thankful to have such a forgiving Lord, and could not ask for anything more.
